Sector roundup: Airlines, regional banks (AP)

Following the pattern of the broader market, shares of major U.S. airlines fell, ending a two-day rally. CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Regional bank stocks slumped after an PNC Financial Services Group Inc. announced it will pay back $7.6 billion in bailout funds to the U.S. government, a development one analyst said could put pressure on other banks in the near term.
