Financials end market rout with 4% loss (at MarketWatch)

The Financial Select Sector SPDR Fund was off 4% at the closing bell Friday as stocks plunged on Europe s escalating debt crisis and a soft May jobs report. Citigroup Inc. shares lost 4% wile Bank of America Corp. declined nearly 3%.
